The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee () is pleased to announce that the Implementation Plan 2025-2026, as amended in May 2025, is now reposted to the Collaborations and websites. This amended implementation plan provides updated actions that and its partners in the Arctic research community will take over the next two years to advance the goals of the Arctic Research Plan 2022-2026 (published in November 2021).
Between January and June 2025, the implementation plan was updated to align with the current administration's policies. Revisions include adjustments to agency commitment to deliverables, changes to terminology used, and restructuring of the Participatory Research and Indigenous Leadership in Research Foundational Activity, which now appears as Tribal Consultation and Effective Processes. As changes are ongoing at agencies, commitments to deliverables will be updated regularly on this website.
