Help with Grant Funding

Katherine Schexneider June 9, 2025

Do you need help with grant funding for your research now that federal funding is hard to come by? Here's something that may help: Katherine Schexneider, a retiree volunteering in climate change in the Arctic space and current Secretary of the US Permafrost Association, is exploring a website called Inside Philanthropy (www.inside philanthropy.com). This organization helps connect people seeking funding with private donors like the Gates, MacArthur, and Bezos Foundations. The services are membership-based and include one-on-one advice sessions.
Would you like a one-month membership, paid for by Katherine, to test drive the organization and decide if a longer membership (also paid for) would benefit you? If so, contact Katherine at schexneiderk@gmail.com and provide your name, university or organization, and home address so Katherine can mail you a check for $47 to cover the cost of the one-month membership. Use a title such as "Grant funding" or something similar in the email title. The first twenty people to respond will receive the $47. Katherine will ask for some feedback on your experience to help her determine the value of Inside Philanthropy for ECRs like yourselves.
These are challenging times. By working together, just like we do in the field and in the lab, we can come up with solutions and continue our critically important work.
Thank you,
Katherine Schexneider
