We believe the workshop summary will be helpful for interested colleagues who were unable to attend the workshop and that it will serve as a reference for the upcoming scientific planning activities, such as the International Polar Year 2032–2033 (-5), the U.S. Decadal Survey for Earth Science and Applications from Space, and future Arctic research planning meetings (e.g., ). The workshop had the goals of identifying key research challenges and priorities in the field of Arctic aerosol cloud interaction science, addressing knowledge gaps, and establishing a coordinated research plan for the future. Participants also discussed relevant advances in methodologies and new technologies.
