We are thrilled to share that the 2024 Planned Research Vessel Movements page is now available! This community-driven resource is a compilation of planned vessel-based research activities in Alaskan and Arctic waters for the upcoming year. The goal of this tool is to support research collaboration and coordination, and to provide clear pathways for communication and increased awareness between Local and Indigenous communities and Arctic researchers.
Please join us for the upcoming 2024 Pre-Field Season Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 9-11 AKT / 1-3p EST. Researchers will give presentations that include details for upcoming research expeditions and are relevant to the scientific and coastal communities. This meeting is co-hosted by the Field Operations, Marine Ecosystems, and Sea Ice Communities of Practice and is open to all who wish to join. A recording will be made available on the Collaborations webpage and YouTube channel.
