Registration is open for the 2017 Alaska Marine Science Symposium

Registration is now open for the 2017 Alaska Marine Science Symposium () that will take place in Anchorage, Alaska January 23-26. Early registration closes December 20 and online registration closes January 18. You may register on site during the symposium. To register, visit https://amss.nprb.org/register.
Keynote presentations will be given on Monday afternoon. The plenary sessions will be organized by Alaska Large Marine Ecosystem, as in past years. Gulf of Alaska research will be presented on Tuesday, Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands on Wednesday, and Arctic on Thursday. The poster session will occur on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Arctic posters will be presented on Tuesday.
's new Arctic Integrated Ecosystem Research Program will host a workshop to share information about the program and discuss collaboration opportunities on Friday. We encourage Collaborations members to attend.
Space is available free of charge to host workshops during the lunch hour, in the evenings, and on Friday. If you would like to organize a workshop, please contact Holly Kent of the Alaska Ocean Observing System (kent@aoos.org) or use the online form. Workshop organizers must pay to arrange teleconference, audio/visual support, and catering if desired.
