The Arctic and Global Prediction Program at the Office of Naval Research announces a call for planning letters for basic research to be funded beginning in FY16 (1 October 2015 - 30 September 2016).

There are two opportunities: (1) research to be supported with program core funds, and (2) a new, 5-year Departmental Research Initiative: Stratified Ocean Dynamics in the Arctic (SODA). Planning letters are due no later than 17 April 2015. More information about these research opportunities, and the preparation and submission of planning letters, is available at the Arctic and Global Prediction Program Web page.
