IARPC is pleased to share the 2017 Annual Report: Summary of Accomplishments. The 2017 annual reports provided here are summaries of achievement toward implementing the Arctic Research Plan 2017-2021 released on December 16, 2016. The reports are in order of appearance in the Arctic Research Plan. For a more detailed look at progress on the 122 performance elements in the plan, please see the 2017 Performance Elements Reporting Logs.

The 2017 annual reports were developed around four themes:

  • Major scientific/research achievement(s).
  • Examples of improved communication and collaboration between Federal agencies and with the research community.
  • Engagement of stakeholders (native communities, research community, State of Alaska, Industry, NGOs) in the work of IARPC and how their engagement has enhanced implementation.
  • Plan to enhance communication and collaboration between agencies and engage stakeholders in 2018.
