We invite you to submit an application to the first Polar Eclipse School, taking place in Iceland, 08-15th of August 2026 (timed during the total solar eclipse).
We are a diverse, multidisciplinary program that involves indigenous knowledge holders, scientists, artists, mountaineers, and activists. The program is built around the individual contributions of each participant. Our schedule includes art projects capturing the solar eclipse, wandering on glaciers together, sharing our knowledge about the Poles (talks & walks), and discussing how we can become more resilient as a Polar community in current times.
