This Arctic Systems Interactions webinar series aims to explore the characteristics, mechanisms, primary drivers, and predictability of different types of Arctic extremes. Through this series, we will examine the variability and trends, model representation/prediction, and the impacts of various Arctic extremes as well as their interconnected nature amongst Arctic systems.
In this first meeting of the series, we heard from two experts on the topics of Arctic cyclones and Arctic extreme precipitation.
