Meeting Goal

The annual post-field season meeting was open to federal and non-federal partners, researchers, local and Indigenous community members, and anyone else interested in the 2025 research season. We heard lightning-talk presentations from principal investigators, community observers, graduate students and early-career researchers who participated in research expeditions in Alaska and Arctic waters during the 2025 field season. A group discussion followed.

By sharing experiences, observations, successes and challenges, this meeting aimed to enhance collective understanding of the state of the Arctic environment and marine ecosystems, create opportunities for future collaborations, and provide broad awareness of research activities in the region.

This meeting was hosted by the Field Operations, Sea Ice, Marine Ecosystems, and Data Management communities of practice.
