The 2026 Navigating the New Arctic () Annual Community Meeting is an in-person meeting for the initiative. This gathering will provide an opportunity for researchers, project partners, Arctic Indigenous community and organization representatives, decision-makers, educators, and others to come together to share research outcomes, Arctic community research priorities, lessons learned, and to discuss future opportunities for collaborative, use-inspired Arctic research.
This year's meeting will take place from September 15-17, 2026 at the Wood Center on the University of Alaska Fairbanks () campus. The meeting hosts are the Community Office and .
Participation in the 2026 Annual Community Meeting is free and open to all researchers, research partners, Indigenous community and organization representatives, decision-makers, and others who have an interest in the initiative. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early.

CALL FOR SESSION PROPOSALS: We invite you to propose a session for our meeting. We will open a call for oral and poster presentations in July. The deadline to submit a session proposal is May 31, 2026 at 11:59pm MT.
