2027-2031 Arctic Research Plan Listening Session: Observing and Modeling Focus September 2025 Meeting

Meeting Goal

This meeting focused on gathering feedback and input regarding observing and modeling related topics to inform the development of the 2027-2031 Arctic Research Plan. It was cohosted by the Monitoring Observing Modeling and Prediction Collaboration Team (MOMP), the Field Operations Working Group, the Modelers Community of Practice, and the US Arctic Observing Network Community of Practice. 

The public comment period for the 2027-2031 Arctic Research Plan is open through November 15. Read the full Federal Register Notice and submit comments regarding what updates should be made to the Arctic Research Plan 2027-2031 here.
