Meeting Summary

Arctic-COLORS is a proposed NASA field campaign that aims to quantify the coupled biogeochemical/ecological response of the Arctic nearshore system to rapidly changing terrestrial fluxes and ice conditions.

During this session, we heard from Kelsey Bisson, a NASA Arctic-COLORS program manager about the recently released Arctic-COLORS implementation plan and pending NASA funding opportunities. The purpose of the Arctic-COLORS Implementation Plan is to provide input and suggestions that NASA will consider to guide its implementation of the Arctic-COLORS field campaign. Kelsey Bisson is a Program Scientist for the Ocean Biology and Biogeochemistry Program (OBB) in the NASA Headquarters Science Mission Directorate.
