Wednesday, September 18 | 6:30 pm | ZOOM, VIA PHONE, OR IN-PERSON AT UAF NW CAMPUS MAIN BUILDING

As the northern Bering Sea warms, it continues to experience changes in the types and amounts of phytoplankton communities. Jiaxu will discuss her ongoing regional airborne algae surveys during September. Come learn about how hyperspectral cameras onboard the flights may help detect different types of algae, harmful (and non-harmful) bloom events, as well as other ocean changes!
