Our featured speakers: Provided a window on E3SM’s current and planned global model developments using AI, high resolution, and embedded Lagrangian fully coupled cryospheric modeling based on a scientific background from a range of measurements and models. Highlighted a recent study evaluating sea ice simulations from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) using modern-era satellite measurements of sea ice thickness, freeboards.
