SUMMARY:2026 NNA Annual Community Meeting
DESCRIPTION:2026 NNA Annual Community Meeting  Sep 15, 2026   The 2026 Navigating the New Arctic (NNA) Annual Community Meeting is an in-person meeting for the NNA initiative. This gathering will provide an opportunity for NNA researchers, project partners, Arctic Indigenous community and organization representatives, decision-makers, educators, and others to come together to share research outcomes, Arctic community research priorities, lessons learned, and to discuss future opportunities for collaborative, use-inspired Arctic research. This year's meeting will take place from September 15-17, 2026 at the Wood Center on the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) campus. The meeting hosts are the NNA Community Office and UAF. Participation in the 2026 NNA Annual Community Meeting is free and open to all NNA researchers, research partners, Indigenous community and organization representatives, decision-makers, and others who have an interest in the NNA initiative. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early. Visit our meeting website for more information and to register. CALL FOR SESSION PROPOSALS: We invite you to propose a session for our meeting. We will open a call for oral and poster presentations in July. The deadline to submit a session proposal is May 31, 2026 at 11:59pm MT.
